Today, Dharamveer, a dedicated animal lover and activitist, is celebrating his birthday. Dr. Dharamveer Chandrakar is a Doctor by profession who started the NGO with Ms. Aanchal Dani when he witnessed hundreds of animals in despair in the city of Durg-Bhilai. Inspired by Smt. Maneka Gandhi, People For Animals Durg-Bhilai Unit 2 took birth in 2016. A vegan, proud parent of 7 indies including 2 special-needs paralysed dogs, and highly informative for anything related to animal welfare. His compassion towards the community is truly inspiring.  He wants to make this memorable day more meaningful by raising resources for the establishment of a new shelter home for injured animals in his city, he needs your support for it! 

How would the funds be used? 

In a city growing with bustling roads and crowded places, people often overlook the ones living on the streets. Many stray animals meet with accidents that require care in addition to the increasing cases of animal abandonment and cruelty. PFA Durg-Bhilai is one of the only NGOs in this city with a small medical home to house just a few injured animals.Which makes the decision difficult for animal lovers in this NGO to choose between lives that need equal help.
With limited resources in hand they intent to save every needy life coming their way, PFA Durg- Bhilai aims to establish a new shelter home for injured animals in their city, for which they need your support.
The funds through this fundraiser would be utilized for the basic construction of the shelter. Activities like fencing, painting, putting on doors & windows etc would be started. This fundraiser will help many injured animals get a roof and proper medical care. The shelter is crucial for the comfortable housing of the injured animals which ensures their speedy recovery.
